The Matierials Control Specialist's main function will be to support the Production and Maintenance team and monitor/perform the operational activities within the Storeroom including inventory control, stock replenishment and warehouse maintenance. Working closely with peers to resolve inventory challenges and find solutions that will improve the overall operation of the department and mill are also key aspects to this role. This position reports directly to the Purchasing Agent.

• A minimum of high school diploma, secondary education preferred

• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience with materials/inventory control or related field

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

• Competent math and computer skills (MS Office) and experience with MRP/ERP programs preferred.

• APICS or other inventory certifications desired.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs

• Valid Drivers License
