Our Transformative Design area is specialized in facilitating participatory research, design and product development processes that result in innovative  solutions to complex challenges. We are design-led, using  data gathering,research and co-creation methods to uncover breakthrough insights that spur action.

Your role as a consultant

As a Research & Design consultant, you will:

• Manage participatory research and design projects with diverse clients and stakeholders

• Conduct research including interviews, discovery sessions, data analysis to uncover insights

• Develop prototypes, tools, products and recommendations that drive innovation and transformation

• Design and facilitate co-creation workshops

• Collaborate with internal and external teams to create research-driven strategies and prototypes

• Stay ahead of emerging trends in design and innovation 

What we’re looking for

• Background in design, social sciences, innovation, or a related field.

• A strategic thinker who can translate research into actionable insights.

• A skilled researcher with experience in qualitative and/or quantitative methods.

• A designer with a strong human-centered approach and ability to prototype ideas.

• An experienced facilitator who can lead co-creation workshops and participatory design processes, especially for diverse, multi-stakeholder groups

• A compelling storyteller who can communicate complex ideas visually and verbally.

• A collaborator who is comfortable navigating ambiguity in innovation work and thrives in multidisciplinary teams and project-based work.

• Fluency in Portuguese and English.

• Experience in International Development or NGO/civil society sector is an advantage

Compensation and Availability:

Net salary range:  95,000mt - 150,000mt (dependent on candidate experience)

Desired Availability: As agreed, full-time position

Location: Fully remote, with potential opportunities for in-person collaboration when necessary.
