Job Description

Rendel Ingerop Pty Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join our highly qualified and expanding team across Australia. 

  • Undertake projects in Australia and internationally
  • Geotechnical design and analysis, such as ground interpretation, foundation and retaining wall design, slope stability assessment and finite element analysis.
  • Inspection and onsite works supervision in Australia
  • Adopt procedures for standardisation of work products and deliverables, and peer review to ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery of the Company’s technical work product
  • Adhere to Company procedures in the management, delivery and administration of Services
  • Embrace organisational change and appropriately modify behaviour and attitudes as required
  • Have an understanding and awareness of the company values and business plan and your contribution to both
  • Observe and maintain Company Health and Safety Policy across all activities
  •  Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by your assignment or line manager

Qualifications

  • Distinction or higher Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline
  • Basic knowledge of Australian Standards and other national and international industry standards
  • Basic awareness of forms of contract, construction methodologies and civil engineering procedures
  • Desire to work in a consultancy environment on large scale infrastructure projects
  • Competent in the use of CAD and MS Office programmes and ability to develop competence in use of proprietary structural analysis programmes to suit specific role requirements
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical and numeracy skills; highly results orientated 
  • Good interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively to stakeholders
  •  Able to work under pressure and ensure deadlines are met whilst maintaining high quality work
  • Strong team working to contribute to and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Self-motivated and committed, with a high degree of integrity
