Job Description
Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring an International Sales Manager (Wholesale) to work with our Ingram International Sales team. The International Sales Manager is responsible for servicing accounts in the assigned sales region for Ingram Content Group (ICG); to include: Ingram Book Company/Wholesale (IBC), and Consumer Direct Fulfillment (CDF). Represents the company with respect to promotion, sales, and service of its product line to a variety of customers and prospects. Responsible for maintaining favorable contacts with current and potential key accounts utilizing strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Develops business with key accounts and generates revenue and/or profit margin in assigned accounts maintaining ongoing client relationship. Reports to leadership on industry and market trends, customer and market requirements, and competitive landscape. Will require market visits and trade shows and must be able to travel with limited restrictions.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or year for year experience
- Ability to speak, write and read both the Spanish and English language
- 3 years sales, book industry or related experience
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to develop sales forecasts, set account and territory plans on an annual, quarterly, and/or monthly basis.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for promoting and selling products or services
- Interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages existing customer relationships, which consists of managing sales, terms of sale, memorandum of understanding and sales tracking, while collaborating with marketing team to develop strategy.
- Analyzes needs of potential retail customers and recommends relevant suite of applicable Ingram services; ensuring a pipeline of potential is maintained.
- Develops and prepares customer-specific sales and pricing strategies, including necessary agreements and documentation, to support new business acquisition.
- Proactively identify new opportunities for business within existing accounts and for prospective clients. Partner with identified clients to determine if Ingram products/services will meet needs, utilizing market trends and knowledge to develop new ideas and present solutions back to clients.
- Works with leadership to negotiate freight, discount terms and other required services for assigned region on a continual basis.
- Prepare a monthly report to interpret account activity to management outlining sales trends, relationship and service issues, account activities, competitive threats and general market concerns.
- Works with additional ICG departments, where appropriate, to develop customer solutions and communications as well as ensure appropriate service levels are being met.
- Ensures high post-sales satisfaction facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers.
- Responsible for the overall maintenance of assigned accounts to include volumes, returns inventory selection, profitability, and/or net sales.
- Travel to meet with assigned accounts to discuss business reviews, sales and/or returns levels, programs, services, problems or other issues. Travel could also include trips within the assigned area to better understand the opportunities associated with assigned account. Represent Ingram Book Group at trade shows.
Hiring Salary Range: $72,895k - $92,168k. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
