Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Sales Reporting Analyst, to contribute to our team in our La Vergne, TN office. This individual will conduct research, build and manage applications, create ongoing reporting, and provide detailed analysis for various Content Acquisition sales publisher accounts, the results of which will be presented to Account Managers and as recommendations to senior leadership in the development of business plans.  This will involve working with Account Managers, Finance, IT, Marketing and other ICG members for special projects, reports, and sales presentations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or directly related year-for-year experience.
  • 3 years business or data analysis experience.
  • 2 years experience working with formal Reporting Tools/Platforms (examples: Tableau, Looker, Pentaho, Qlik, Informatica, OBIEE, OAS, Talend, SSRS, SQL, Crystal Reports, PL/SQL, PowerBI, Quickbase, or Cognos).

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience using Oracle and/or Qlik.
  • Prior experience with large sets

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and evaluate data and analyze against attainment of sales objectives. 
  • Prepare forecasts, advise on changes in promotional efforts.  Partner with Sales associates for to determine specific needs to analyze opportunities to enhance and/or solidify existing business relationships.
  • Provides administrative support to sales function. 
  • Processes data and generates routine reports regarding sales results, market conditions.  Work closely with VPs of sales and marketing to deliver metrics that drive opportunities and promotions.
  • Creates interactive applications using, Q, SQL, OBIEE/OAS, etc. based on the business needs, that provide visibility and functionality for sales, marketing and other departments.
  • Utilize report writing analytical tools to create and manage daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Liaison between Sales, Analytics, Business Intelligence, and IT teams to ensure data flow, data integrity, and the development of new data fields or views within the analytical environment.
  • Perform various information-gathering tasks such as freight analysis, regional title requests, historical sales volume, product availability, and present to senior leadership.
  • Document business plan/project development and prepare implementation/communication outlines - meet with stakeholders to ensure project scope and deliverables within timeframe.
  • Exercise sound judgment in analyzing practical applications of specific customer requests to the most efficient and cost-effective use of Lightning Source resources, systems and processes.
  • Analyze existing customers’ unique needs/requirements to identify opportunities for the development of programs/services/reports beneficial to multiple customers.
