Job Description
Job Title Operations Logistic Analyst
Department: Operations
Role Reports To: Manager, EDI
Job Summary: Implements, maintains, and analyzes logistics systems. Works with Operations to trouble shoot issues and enhance workflow. Assists with system releases, including documentation on new processes and training as needed. Manages orders held in various systems to get them released in a timely manner. Coordinates with Operations regarding SLAs. Provides support for DMS Systems, Operations., Customer Service, Sales, and Customer Implementation of the dataset products. Establishes tactical steps required to integrate new business initiatives and assess the impact of Operations workflow and production system.
Essential Duties:
- Serves as point of contact for Operations regarding any system issue or procedural questions.
- Assists with troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Looks for process improvements and streamlining.
- Liaison and interface with customers, including face to face meetings, to define their requirements and specifications.
- Writes and maintains procedural documentation/manuals for system processes.
- Assists with testing and rollouts of system enhancements/releases.
- Coordinates directly with both Operations and IT regarding systems related issues or enhancements.
- Clears orders in DMS and Oracle systems.
- Provides daily oversight of the scheduled jobs in the UK site to ensure consistent and accurate workflow while balancing TAT regarding customer’s expectations.
- Extensive troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Coordinates with the production planning team regarding unrouted and/or aging orders.
- Documents, tests, and, communicates changes and enhancements including DMS, EOM, and customer related projects.
- Coordinates with the Quality and Training Team regarding training documentation and the development and disbursement of SOPs.
- Assists operations staff with research of lost/problem orders, files, shipments.
- Confirms shipping rates and updates systems as needed.
- Assist in the Business Integration with UK customer or changing existing integrations.
- Works with current client EDI teams to ensure ongoing EDI systems or process issues are resolved in a timely manner

- Knowledge of Logistics systems and processes
- Ability to convey system enhancements or issues that are occurring to Leadership and coordinates with the IT team regarding documentation and resolution.

- Knowledge of warehouse operations systems and equipment
- Personal computing skills, including MS office applications and relational databases

Qualifications
Basic/Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
College Level Education in a related field or equivalent year for year experience
At least 5 years of experience required for each of the following:
EDI Implementation experience or Manufacturing Planning/Scheduling
SQL query writing experience required
XML experience required
Data Analysis/ Technical Writing experience
Relational database structure/design experience required
