Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Sr. Trade Show & Events Specialist to join our team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville.

In this role, you will lead the development and execution of high-profile and complex trade show and event program plans for profitable key accounts and specified Ingram Content Group (ICG) lines of business (LOBs).  You’ll lead the planning, implementation, and execution of meetings, events, and trade shows for a cross-section of ICG companies/divisions.  The ideal candidate will have experience planning large-scale Trade Shows and Events.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • 5 years’ experience producing various sized trade shows, meetings and events in a professional environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience presenting to business stakeholders and Executives
  • Experience managing large and mid-size trade show displays and corporate events
  • Experience managing budgets

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads and executes all logistical aspects of high-profile and complex trade shows and events globally for specific ICG LOBs, including but not limited to: space selection, show services, shipping, accommodations, event sponsorships, and special events within budgetary guidelines.
  • Assists in developing a plan of execution for high-profile and complex trade shows and LOB events; from contract agreements/implementation to event close, including a team debrief to identify successes and areas of improvement.
  • Ensures all details of the event plan contribute to attaining determined goals; providing solutions to meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Manages the logistics of menus, inventory, rentals, displays, and other needs to ensure event success.
  • Meets regularly with stakeholders, communicating appropriately to ensure timely execution of plan requirements.
  • Partners with team members on assignments to ensure the event is on track for internal and external deadlines.
  • Submits formal project budgets for Manager review and approval; acquires required approvals for items. 
  • Develops long-term working relationships with show management teams to maximize Ingram opportunities.
  • Responsible for providing assistance and training to the team regarding high-profile and complex events and facilitating responses to escalated issues. 
  • Perform duties as outlined on Trade Show & Events Specialist job description as warranted for event success.
