Job Description

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring an International Sales Specialist to join our team at the NYC office. In this role, you will collaborate with local Sales Reps, business partners, and existing customers and prospects to drive business growth in The Middle East, Africa, India, and Latin America & Caribbean for our client publishers, including Grove Atlantic, Spiegel & Grau, Harvard Business Review, Aperture, and more. Additionally, the Sales Specialist will also take the lead on operational projects for the international sales team.

Required Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 2 years related book selling experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with project management
  • MS Excel experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicates daily with international customers, local Commission Reps, and business partners with the purpose of developing interest, selling books, answering queries, and solving issues.
  • Maximizes sales growth by reviewing, securing, and renewing orders.
  • Achieves budgeted sales goals in assigned territory.
  • Works with the Inventory, Credit Control and Customer Service departments on all matters related to shipping and delivery for customer base.
  • Analyzes sales data as it pertains to budgets, forecasting and creating strategies with local business partners and Sales Reps to grow presence in the markets.
  • Creates and develops publishing program for sales markets, in the designated regions.
  • Fosters relationships with client publishers, delivering timely market updates and valuable feedback.
  • Stays current on new titles, trends, and evolving market dynamics.
  • Maintains regular communication regarding market information with local Reps and business partners.
  • Keeps records, creates forecasts, and runs reports on all phases of sales activity in the assigned territories.
  • Presents updates on sales in assigned territories to executives and other stakeholders.
  • Leads operational projects and advocates for international requirements within internal systems and maintains on/off boarding, and new client grids for the international team.

Hiring Salary Range: $66,940 - $93,960.  This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to:  the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
