Ingram Content Group (ICG) is currently recruiting for a Senior Oracle Developer to join our team. This is a remote position.
This individual will deliver enterprise grade software solutions with high customer impact. They’ll participate in the design and development activities with a specialization in at least one major enterprise IT application, one major database platform (e.g, Oracle, MySQL), and one major operating system (e.g. Linux). This Sr. Developer will perform all aspects of the development life cycle. They will act as the senior technical programmer for the assigned enterprise system and/or application of responsibility. They’ll also deliver results through independent contributions and through mentoring of junior engineers. The ideal candidate will have recent experience using Oracle Financial modules and will have some understanding of Accounting.

The ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years experience designing and developing in the Oracle RDBMS environment
- 5 years experience with Oracle Applications to include Apache server/Oracle forms engine, Oracle forms development, Oracle Apps Concurrent Manager, Oracle Applications debugging, Oracle Apps environment parameters (e.g. SQL and PL/SQL Shell Scripting, Internet, Web, HTTP, HTML, XML)
We have a preference for:
- Experience with Oracle Financial modules (i.e. GL, AP, AR, FA, INV)
The Senior Oracle Developer’s key responsibilities are:
- Works with Development staff in all application interface design, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate the installation, configuration and monitoring of both systems and business-level monitoring that provides 24*7*365 feedback on systems health.
- Design and develop custom software/production technology to meet LSI’s business requirements.
- Design and implement solutions to solve business requirements using third-party hardware and software solutions.
- Document solutions and train LSI personnel on implemented solutions.
- Create/extend proprietary applications functionality using Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL, Oracle Apps Forms, Concurrent Manager utilization and new Apps Responsibility registrations.
- Serve as “application extension architect” by using specific Oracle Applications experience to dictate how modifications should be performed.
- Define, install, configure and maintain all associated Oracle reporting functionality based on the OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition)
- Extend existing Oracle Apps functionality through altering forms, embedded form validations, and all related back-end objects.
