Job Description

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Sales Assistant to contribute to our Consortium team in our Minneapolis, MN office. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting sales staff by providing administrative, clerical, and customer support.  You will assist the sales team by tracking and reporting sales information and resolving issues.  You’ll also follow up with customers, complete orders, and process sales leads.  The ideal candidate for this role will be self-motivated and will have a genuine interest in working with books.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or directly related year for year experience.
  • 1-year experience creating spreadsheets in MS Excel, including creating basic mathematical formulas and data manipulation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and organization of sales material for national account managers, developing Edelweiss collections, editing and uploading material
  • Coordinate seasonal title projections with account managers
  • Coordinate client changes with accounts
  • Set up and manage reports for weekly and monthly sales meetings
  • Assist account managers with sales and sales operations
  • Support eBook merchandising team
  • Handle publisher queries for supervisor as needed
