VitalSource®, is hiring for a Senior Oracle Developer to contribute to our Engineering team in working remotely or in Raleigh, NC. 

Performs design, development and maintenance of Oracle E-business Suite including development of reports and forms, system enhancements, and interfaces with other systems

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 years of experience designing and developing in the Oracle RDBMS environment PL/SQL (stored Procedures, Packages, Triggers, etc.)
• 5 years of experience in data conversion from legacy systems and interfacing Oracle E-Business Suite with external systems
• 5 years of experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and extending Oracle E-Business Suite Financial applications, including Order Management, Receivables, Payables and General Ledger
• 5 years of experience developing Linux and Shell Programming

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with XML processing
• Knowledge of Java, CronTabs 3rd party tools interfacing with Oracle

Key Responsibilities:

• Designs and develops custom Oracle applications to integrate with Oracle E-Business Suite.
• Modifies Oracle Forms and E-Business Suite modules.
• Develops and maintains interfaces of Oracle E-Business suite with external and custom applications.
• Develops programs in Oracle PL/SQL and applies within Oracle Applications.
• Develops host programs in LINUX/UNIX.
• Responsible for performance tuning in a high-volume environment.
• Develops reports using Oracle Reports, PL/SQL, and XML Publisher.
• Develops screens using Oracle Forms and OA Framework Applications.
• Participates in upgrades and implementations of new modules in Oracle E-Business suite.
• Interacts with Oracle support to research and resolve issues.
