Job Description
To assist the Senior Finance Manager in the provision of a first-class finance and administration function in support of the business.
Essential Job Duties:
Credit management of all AR accounts with credit card payment terms
Assist with and provide cover for the setup of new customers on all credit terms including credit checking
Processing of customer credit card payments, resolving queries and arranging credit memos where necessary
Reviewing and resolving customer credit card overpayments, both new and historic, efficiently and accurately.
Oversee the dunning process for credit card customers and ensuring smooth running
Ensure credit memos and associated invoice cancellation or refund for credit card customers are processed within the company guidelines
Monthly reconciliation of GBP bank account
Review and posting of the Credit card system receipt reports into the accounts system
Reconciliation of the credit card balance sheet accounts for month end
Activating of LS UK US tax exemption forms for customers
Responsibility for the LS France operating unit and debtor account with LS France
Ad-hoc duties and project work as directed by the Senior Finance Manager
Where necessary provide cover for absent team members
To be responsible for your own Health and Safety and be aware of factors affecting your colleagues in order to maintain a safe environment
To report any accidents, potential hazards to your Line Manager immediately
Qualifications
Education:
A levels or 5 GCSE level including Math and English Grade C or above.
AAT or ACCA study Company sponsored support package available
Skills:
- Intermediate MS Office skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience with Oracle ERP (optional)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem-solving ability
- Able to respond effectively to changing priorities
- Able to multitask and be proactive
- Attention to detail
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and theories.
