VitalSource Technologies LLC is seeking a full-time Sr. Oracle Developer at our offices in Raleigh, NC. The Sr. Oracle Developer is responsible for performing design, development and maintenance of Oracle E-business Suite including development of reports and forms, system enhancements, and interfaces with other systems. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must also have 12 months of demonstrated ability (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1). gathering client requirements and preparing documents using AIM Methodology and using Code Review to ensure coding standards are met of Oracle and the client; (2) using APEX, QLIK Sense with Data Warehousing concepts, BI Publisher reporting tools for designing and developing reports and representation of data using charts, maps along with functional knowledge of Account Receivables (AR), Payables (PO), Fixed Assets (FA), Order Management(OM) and General Ledger(GL) modules; (3) creating Oracle Service Requests (SR) on Oracle Metalink and change requests in Service Now; (4) using UNIX and Shell scripts, Oracle EDI tool and WebADI to load and transfer data from 3rd party to Oracle database; (5) using PL/SQL and Advance PL/SQL (collections, external tables) coding to design and develop complex interfaces, triggers, procedures, functions and generating excel, csv files using Dynamic SQL scripts; and (6) utilizing the following tools and technologies: Oracle, Oracle APIs, Oracle workflows, Oracle Report builder tools, PL/SQL, UNIX, BI Publisher and Shell scripting, TOAD, WinSCP, JIRA, QLIK Sense, APEX Tool, Oracle Forms and Reports, WebADI, EDI tools, Putty, Kintana, CollabNet, SVN, and AOL components.
