Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Contract Specialist (Pricing and Financial Analysis) to contribute to our Library Services Administration team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville.  This individual consistently produces winning written proposals, positioning ILS as the premier materials and value-added services supplier to libraries. Also, this person manages all aspects of proposals, including initial receipt/request, submission and archival process.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field OR related year-for-year experience
  • 3 years of proposal or contract writing experience 
  • 3 or more years of related business experience (financial analysis and/or pricing)

Preferred Skills:

  • Intermediate Excel experience including data manipulation, formulas, pivot tables, and V-look up functions
  • MS Office or comparable experience with PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Access
  • Problem solving, analytical, and project management skills
  • Knowledge of financial/profitability or data analysis methodologies and tools (Increase margins, freight numbers, special projects, exporting and importing data, data manipulation, inventory, pricing, sales or financial)
  • Experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively researches, compiles, and analyzes all financial and competitive information critical to preparing a written proposal response for bids worth up to $7 million.
  • Coordinates and prepares all required supporting documentation including EEOC forms, tax information, MBE/WBE forms, proof of insurance, and Drug Free Certification Compliance.
  • Develops, analyzes and proposes competitive and profitable pricing.
  • Conducts ongoing reviews and produces documentation of competitive pricing trends, customer purchases of product mix, and cost of goods and services
  • Creates financial models that reflect proposed discounts and value-added services pricing to ensure attainment of company profit objectives.
  • Creates pricing models for bids up to $250K annual volume and works with Financial Services for bids that are at least $250K.
