Job Description

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Director, Security and Compliance to contribute to our IT Services team in LaVergne, TN, just outside the Nashville area.  This individual researches, designs, and advocates new technologies, architectures, and security products that support security requirements for the enterprise.  This person analyzes business impact and exposure based on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks; manages IT Security, Risk and Compliance for Ingram Content Group; partners with senior leadership throughout ICG to define, develop, implement, measure, and communicate the IT Security program and strategy.  Also, this leader partners with various teams to develop a security culture that influences new technologies, process, procedures, and standards across the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Related field
  • 8 years of overall experience as a technical manager or technology lead
  • 5 years of experience leading mid-size to large-size, elite and fast-moving IT and Security, Implementations

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience managing an IT Security team
  • Advanced experience/knowledge with business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resource modeling, leadership technique, production methods and coordination of people and resources
  • Ability to collaborate and influence all levels of the company, customers and prospective clients
  • Knowledge of PCI, HIPAA, and GDPR
  • Experience with SOC1/2
  • Knowledge of common information security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27k, COBIT, and others

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designs and implements enterprise information security architectures and solutions.
  • Serves as the advisor for application development, database design, network and/or platform efforts, helping team comply with enterprise and IT security policies.
  • Assesses potential systems and process vulnerabilities to determine security infrastructure requirements.
  • Leads security and risk assessments across technology infrastructure, applications, and processes.
  • Partners with VP, IT Services to define and enhance the ICG IT Security strategy and posture based on IT Security Best Practices.
  • Partners with VP, IT Services to develop and manage the IT Security initiatives and budget aligned with the ICG IT Security strategy.
