VitalSource®, an Ingram Content Group (ICG) company is hiring for a Program manager to contribute to our Customer Success team in Raleigh, NC

The Program Manager for our Inclusive Access product will support the rollout of products and business initiatives having internal and/or external application to relevant clients and programs.  They will be responsible for tracking the project’s progress, resolving issues and impediments, reporting on status, and communicating progress internally to stake holders and externally to customers.  The Program Manager will provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team while recommending actions and solutions to problems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or directly related year-for-year experience
  • 6 years project management experience to include managing multiple projects with competing deadlines 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with Jira and/or Salesforce

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, and evaluates scalable, enterprise-level solutions that align to clients’ unique needs.
  • Defines project scope and objectives and acts as the single point of contact on assigned projects. 
  • Acts as business segment owner on inclusive access initiatives beyond initial project completion.
  • Represents the needs of relevant segments within Customer Success to drive effective and efficient rollout of new products and initiatives.
  • Communicates with a distributed internal team of Product Owners, Testers, and Engineers to understand issues and impediments within a project.
  • Partners closely with Customer Success Managers and Customer Success Specialists to understand needs of customers and define (and refine, over time) processes needed to support customers’ use cases.
  • Determines required change management approaches internally and externally.
  • Conducts internal and external project meetings; responsible for project tracking analysis and documenting progress throughout the project. 
  • Manages communication and project progress updates between senior leadership and internal stakeholders, to ensure roadblocks, missed milestones, etc. are anticipated and identified as early as possible.
  • Develops communication and implementation plans for both internal and external customers.
  • Tracks projects from conception to completion and interprets all reports, diagrams, and spreadsheets from the project team to provide project status to internal and external management.
  • Reports to upper management and executive teams to answer questions about projects and provide “walk-through” scenarios.
