Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Manager, Business Operations to contribute to our Ingram Spark team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville.  In this role, you will provide operational management and execution of the entire IngramSpark portfolio including developing and executing against the annual strategy and developing an expense budget that supports those goals. You’ll ensure a consistent global user journey within a localized experience as IngramSpark grows its global footprint. This will include developing key metrics, KPIs and reporting on IngramSpark customer trends, keeping abreast with competitors delivering author services, and delivering experiences to ensure projected targets for new accounts, sales and revenue are being met. Finally, you will provide weekly, monthly and annual reports to the Director and team on the state of the P&L of the IngramSpark business and ensure operational coordination between and across all ICG global entities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or related year-for-year experience in a business development or business operations role
  • 3 years of experience managing teams
  • 2 years of experience in publishing or comparable industry

 

Preferred Skills:

  • 1 year of experience with Excel, including pivot tables and V lookups
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Experience using Quick Base
  • Data analyst and reporting experience

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creates and implements systems, policies and procedures that support the strategic direction and goals of the IngramSpark business within ICG.
  • Oversees the development of the IngramSpark UI/UX/platform.
  • Develops and negotiates third party relationships in support of the IngramSpark Marketplace for the purpose of providing IngramSpark customers an end-to-end publishing experience.
  • Drives the development and implementation of improvements related to the IngramSpark platform and experience.
  • Translates business discussions and requirements into technical discussions and vice versa.
  • Develops and ensures the IngramSpark expense budget supports the needs of the business and is within financial parameters set by ICG.
  • Evaluates priority and revenue opportunities of third parties wishing to associate with IngramSpark through a proprietary marketplace.
  • Assists in strategic development for IngramSpark, including product enhancements, user group creation, resource deployment, and marketing approach.
  • Manages a team responsible for the development of detailed technical product specifications and customer training materials, FAQs and related documentation in conjunction with the proper business units at ICG.
  • Serves as the primary contact for the IngramSpark LOB in working with the adjacent ICG teams in support of the IngramSpark customers to include legal, finance, sales, and IT.
  • Supports the business goals as outlined in the strategic plan, and prioritizes them accordingly, while meeting customer expectations.  
  • Partners with other departments to maintain a high level of operational success, ensuring operational efficiency new and existing products
