Job Description
Responsible for supporting accurate and timely accounting in accordance with U.S. GAAP, with a focus on the month-end accounting cycle and operational reporting.
Terminal Accounting & Revenue Support
Support terminal revenue accounting and revenue accruals
Reconcile general ledger activity to operational reporting systems
Research billing discrepancies and accounting questions
Operational Reporting
Prepare tonnage, throughput, royalty, KPI, and operational reports
Compile and distribute financial and operational reporting information
Support terminal-related payment requests and AP coordination
Maintain audit-ready documentation and support audits
Support process improvement initiatives
Perform special projects as assigned
Assist in budget preparation as needed
Support ad hoc requests from operations and finance departments

Qualifications
Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial records, and U.S. GAAP concepts
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify questions, follow logic, and research discrepancies
Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial or operational data
Organized and able to manage recurring deadlines and competing priorities
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Dependable, adaptable, and willing to learn new systems, processes, and business operations
Exercises good judgment and maintains confidentiality when working with financial information

Working Environment and Conditions:
Standard office environment, ability to sit at workstation for extended periods of time
