Job Description

This is a remote position but occasional travel to London and Birmingham will be required.

In this senior leadership position, you will report directly to the Head of Clinical Quality and work in partnership with Clinical Operations to drive and deliver the HAAS Quality Strategy. You will collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders, helping to shape, influence, and implement the Assessment Quality Plan (AQP) and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP). Through activities such as quality assurance, auditing, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives, you will ensure the highest standards of clinical quality are achieved and maintained at a contract level.

What you'll be doing:

  • Work closely with the DWP in the Independent Audit & Observation Program, playing a key part in the challenge and calibration process, bringing back and sharing learning to promote alignment across the business.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to support clinical policy change and effectively roll out updates to the business, whilst supporting the utilisation of Audit Quality Assurance (AQA) processes.
  • Coordinate and facilitate effective collaboration across operations, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and driving initiatives that promote excellence in clinical quality.
  • Drive data-driven MI solutions that promote a culture of continuous improvement and advance service delivery whilst ensuring the highest standards of quality and innovation.
  • Support modelling of AQP and resource management to ensure efficient delivery of all audit activity, maintaining close working relationships and managerial support.
  • Carry out telephone, video and/or face-to-face functional assessments to maintain WCA approval, whilst keeping up to date with clinical best practice through liaison with clinical peers across the NHS, private healthcare sector, charities and support organisations.

What we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a senior clinical role such as Quality Assurance Lead or Head of Clinical.
  • A minimum of 24 months experience as a DWP approved Functional Assessor, achieving consistently high-quality clinical audit outcomes
  • A minimum of 12 months' post-qualification experience as a Dr, physiotherapist, nurse or occupational therapist.  
  • Be HCPC / NMC/ GMC registered with no restrictions on practice
  • Audit and PBR trained with demonstrable high-quality outputs.
  • Ability to develop and implement service quality strategies aligning quality initiatives with organizational goals and adjust strategies and plans based on changing circumstances.
  • Ability to use MI to communicate and direct the quality agenda, along side qualitative information to inform quality initiatives.
  • Demonstrable experience of supporting large scale clinical projects and ability to influence during constant change.
  • Evidence of ability to influence at a senior stakeholder level.
  • Excellent communication skills.
