Job Description

Overview

This position manages the portfolio of information technology property subscriptions and computer equipment inventory for all clients, places orders and receives various computer components, manages client credit lines, manages property subscriptions funding pools, and facilitates the property subscription transactions. Provides pricing for new catalog items, creates forecasts and maintains detailed records to facilitate ad hoc reports. Must be extremely organized with excellent planning skills, preparing property subscription activities several months in advance.

Essential Functions - Inventory Control, Catalog Maintenance, Contract Compliance

Property Catalog Management – Will develop and maintain a moderate level of technical knowledge regarding all items in the property subscription catalog. Must have level of expertise to provide recommendations and field basic technical questions.

Property Subscriptions – Maintain forecast of client catalog subscriptions in rolling 12-month window planning for purchases, deployments and decommissioning property. Must understand the terms of client contracts and keep track of start/end dates, payment terms and credit limits. 

Property Funding – Develop pricing sheets and maintain 24-month funding projection for all clients.

 

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or 3 years of relevant experience such as Purchasing Agent, Accounting Clerk, Inventory Control Clerk, Planner/Scheduler coupled with knowledge of IT hardware, software and industry trends.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee occasionally is required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must have visual capacity to read documents and computer screens. May occasionally be required to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.

Office/warehouse environment. Temperature controlled. Noise level light to moderate.

Salary and Benefits:      

  • $50,000 - $65,000 DOE and a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, 401K, education reimbursement and employee discounts.
