Job Description

Engineer Technical Sourecr - Determines appropriate recruiting sources for advertising and posting positions. Promotes the company image to candidates and external service providers. Surfaces candidates and develops networks of people and processes to support a strong pipeline of qualified candidates. Pre-screens resumes and evaluates effectiveness of electronic candidate evaluation tools. May provide performance feedback on all recruiting agencies/sources. Professionals at the higher levels may specialize in technical recruiting and/or highly specialized executive searches. Assist / Develops Informatica sourcing practices; ensuring they are consistently applied. You’ll also have the confidence and knowledge to influence others in a matrix environment. Building strong relationships throughout our TA organization is imperative to success in this position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and implementing effective Sourcing strategies and programs to recruit top talent.
• Manages the processes surrounding recruiting key candidates at all levels of the organization.
• Identifies needs and creates solutions, works closely with recruiter and/or internal business unit leaders
• Manages a variety of projects, and leverages others to implement programs and processes that will allow Informatica to recruit top talent.
• Manages the outside relationships with key partners and vendors that will assist in all aspects of the Sourcing function.
• Has a proven track record in a fast paced environment managing multiple priorities and constituents.
• Consults with internal client managers on positions / business needs.
• Assists and develops Sourcing strategies for priority and hard to fill requisitions
• Targets primarily passive candidates.
• Screens candidates and provides feedback to recruiters.
• Responsible for review and recommendations on new Sourcing tools / strategies
• Assists with recruiters and internal client managers on position/business needs.    
• Sources for qualified candidates.
• Provides ongoing candidate management so as to always present Informatica in a positive manner.
 

 

Qualifications

Knowledge & Skills

• Seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization who resolves wide ranges of issues in creative ways. 
• This is the fully qualified, career oriented, journey level position.
• Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Expands skills and practical knowledge by routinely working with experts in the field and outside of immediate team/area/segment.

Education/Experience

• BA/BS or equivalent educational background is preferred. 
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
