Job Description
The Festival Of Connoisseurs is an experiential lifestyle celebration that curates luxury living through immersive editorial storytelling.
It brings together visionary contemporary connoisseurs to discover, experience, exchange and redefine luxury living through exhibition, conversations, education and beyond. Guests are immersed in curated events, expert voices, emerging talents, taste-forward trends and best-in-class hospitality.
Launching November 2026 in Hong Kong, TFOC will expand to a full-scale festival in June 2027.
ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Marketing Manager for The Festival of Connoisseurs (TFOC) will lead the marketing strategy and execution for Asia's premier luxury lifestyle platform, launching in Hong Kong in November 2026. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a flagship event from the ground up, working at the intersection of luxury, lifestyle, and destination marketing. The successful candidate will develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns to position TFOC as the must-attend event for luxury connoisseurs, high-net-worth individuals, premium brands, and trade buyers across Asia and globally.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute the annual marketing strategy, aligning with business objectives and revenue targets.
- Position TFOC as Asia's premier luxury lifestyle platform, building brand awareness and prestige.
- Create compelling brand narratives that bring the "City-as-Your-Showroom" concept to life.
- Drive integrated campaigns across multiple luxury verticals (e.g., Marina, Marque, Vault, Galerie).
Brand & Communications
- Lead PR and media relations strategy, securing high-impact coverage in luxury, lifestyle, trade, and business media.
- Develop relationships with key media partners, luxury publications, and influencers.
- Craft press releases, media kits, and thought leadership content to elevate TFOC's positioning.
- Manage brand partnerships and collaborations with luxury brands and cultural institutions.
Trade Marketing & Demand Generation
- Design and execute B2B marketing campaigns to attract premium exhibitors and sponsors.
- Develop B2C strategies to drive high-net-worth visitor attendance and engagement.
- Create targeted campaigns for VIP audiences, collectors, and trade buyers.
- Leverage destination marketing opportunities in partnership with HKTB and strategic partners.
Event Marketing & Experiential
- Plan and execute pre-event, on-site, and post-event marketing activations across Hong Kong.
- Design immersive brand experiences showcasing the "City-as-Your-Showroom" concept.
- Coordinate with venue partners, luxury brands, and stakeholders to deliver seamless citywide experiences.
- Manage VIP programmes, exclusive previews, and invitation-only experiences.
Digital Marketing & Content
- Oversee digital strategy, including website, social media, email marketing, and paid media.
- Create premium content (videos, photography, editorial) reflecting luxury brand standards.
- Leverage influencer and KOL partnerships to amplify reach within luxury communities.
- Drive data-driven campaigns using marketing automation and CRM platforms.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with HKTB, strategic partners, and internal teams (sales, operations, events).
- Manage agency relationships (creative, PR, media, digital, production).
- Work cross-functionally with Informa Markets' global luxury event portfolio.
- Present marketing plans, performance reports, and insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Over 15 years in marketing, with a strong focus on luxury brands across industries such as fashion, jewellery, automotive, hospitality, and lifestyle.
- Significant experience in marketing for premium/luxury events, exhibitions, or festivals, including creating immersive brand experiences.
- Experience with luxury brands, destination marketing, citywide events, and familiarity with tools like Salesforce and marketing automation platforms.
- Deep understanding of high-net-worth audiences, luxury consumer behaviour, and connoisseur communities.
- Skilled in managing B2B and B2C marketing campaigns, with a track record of launching new brands or events from the ground up.
- Demonstrated success in public relations, media partnerships, and trade marketing, with strong media connections.
- Expertise in social media, content marketing, influencer partnerships, and leveraging digital platforms for impactful campaigns.
- Experienced in managing diverse stakeholders, including C-level executives, and working across teams and partnerships.
- Strong budget management skills with a focus on delivering measurable results and return on investment.
- Fluent in English is essential, with Mandarin highly preferred and Cantonese advantageous; culturally attuned with a passion for luxury, art, and craftsmanship.
