About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Principal Analyst to lead our Automotive Intelligence Service, focusing on cutting-edge automotive technologies. The successful candidate will be a thought leader in the automotive industry, with deep expertise in one or more of ADAS/Autonomy, automotive AI, digital cockpit/smart cockpit, automotive software, and emerging automotive OEMs.
As a Senior Principal Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our research agenda, delivering actionable insights, and driving thought leadership in the rapidly evolving automotive technology landscape. Reporting to the Senior Research Director, you will lead a team of analysts across the APAC region and collaborate with global stakeholders to provide strategic guidance to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive research agenda on automotive technology trends, including ADAS/Autonomy, automotive AI, digital cockpit/smart cockpit, automotive software, and the strategies of new automotive OEMs.
- Lead the creation of high-quality, data-driven research reports, forecasts, and thought leadership pieces that address key industry challenges and opportunities.
- Stay ahead of market developments, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics to ensure our research remains at the forefront of the industry.
- Client Engagement:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic insights and recommendations to support their decision-making processes.
- Deliver compelling presentations, webinars, and briefings to clients, industry stakeholders, and at key industry events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Team Leadership:
- Mentor and guide a team of analysts, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
- Ensure the team delivers high-quality research outputs on time and in line with client expectations.
- Business Development:
- Collaborate with the commercial team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, including custom research projects and consulting engagements.
- Contribute to the growth of the Advanced Automotive Intelligence Service by expanding its client base and enhancing its value proposition.
- Industry Thought Leadership:
- Represent the company as a thought leader in the automotive technology space, speaking at conferences, participating in panel discussions, and engaging with media.
- Publish thought-provoking articles, white papers, and blogs that establish the company as a leader in automotive technology research.

Qualifications
Experience and Expertise:
- More than 7 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a strong focus on technology areas such as ADAS/Autonomy, automotive AI, digital cockpit/smart cockpit, automotive software, and new automotive OEMs.
- Proven track record of delivering high-impact research and thought leadership in the automotive technology space.
- Deep understanding of the global and regional automotive market, including key players, trends, and regulatory dynamics.
Skills and Competencies:
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Leadership and team management experience, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and develop talent.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business, or technology). A master’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
Language Skills:
- Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in an additional APAC language (e.g., Korean, Japanese, or Mandarin) is highly desirable.
