Job Description
This role will be based at Menara Skymind.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation and AI Engineer to join our Operational Excellence team. This role is critical in driving efficiency and productivity savings across the organization by designing, developing, and implementing advanced automation solutions. As part of the Operational Excellence team, you will play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities for process optimization, reducing manual effort, and delivering measurable efficiency and productivity gains.
This position requires a deep understanding of automation frameworks, AI technologies, and a strong focus on achieving tangible business outcomes. Experience with tools such as N8N, Power Platform (Power Automate), Nintex Automation Cloud and UI Path is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Development and Implementation
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of automation solutions, including robotic process automation (RPA) and workflow optimization, to drive efficiency and productivity savings.
- Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks and reusable components to streamline implementation and maximize ROI.
Process Analysis and Optimization
- Collaborate with the Lean Project Managers and Business Analysts to analyse existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and design end-to-end automated solutions that align with Operational Excellence goals.
- Monitor and refine automation solutions to ensure optimal performance and sustained efficiency gains.
Documentation and Governance
- Document all automation solutions in Nintex Process Manager, ensuring clear, accurate, and up-to-date process documentation.
- Maintain alignment with organizational standards for process governance and transparency.
Tool and Platform Expertise
- Utilize industry-leading automation tools (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) to build and deploy solutions that deliver measurable business value.
- Leverage tools such as N8N, Power Platform (Power Automate) and Nintex Automation Cloud to design and implement advanced automation workflows.
- Stay updated on emerging automation technologies and recommend tools to enhance capabilities and outcomes.
AI-Driven Enhancements
- Design and implement AI and machine learning models to enhance automation capabilities, such as intelligent decision-making, predictive analytics, and natural language processing (NLP).
- Integrate AI models into automation workflows to enable smarter and more adaptive systems that further drive efficiency and productivity.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization
- Continuously monitor the performance of AI models and automation systems, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and implement improvements to enhance system performance and business impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align automation and AI initiatives with business goals and efficiency targets.
Leadership and Mentorship
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members within the Operational Excellence team.
- Drive best practices in automation development, testing, and deployment to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality solutions.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in automation, AI, and machine learning technologies, and share knowledge with the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in automation engineering, with a strong focus on RPA and workflow optimization.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable efficiency and productivity savings through automation initiatives.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as UiPath, Power Platform (Power Automate), Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere.
- Solid understanding of process analysis, optimization, and automation frameworks.
- Experience with AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with N8N, Power Automate and Nintex Automation Cloud for designing and implementing automation workflows.
- Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision.
- Certifications in automation tools or AI technologies.
