Job Description

This role is based in our JustCo Tower office. 

Client Engagement and Communication

  • Lead in client engagements. Primary contact window for all local client communication regarding country-level insights and data-related inquiries, supported by the global TV analyst team and other insights from primary research within their networks.
  • Present market research findings in clear, structured formats suitable for various stakeholders

Market Intelligence Collection and Reporting

  • Evaluate in-market, go-to-market strategies of leading TV manufacturers, including regional priority, sales resources, product pricing, market positioning, distribution strategy, and partnerships.
  • Conduct ongoing primary research through interviews with TV OEMs, component suppliers to support the global TV country-level market insights, which include high-quality sell-in data across key markets.
  • Develop and maintain a robust network of industry contacts throughout the TV industry
  • Working closely with the data analyst teams to combine primary research findings with secondary data sources to create comprehensive market models
  • Develop methodologies and utilize additional data sources to enhance country-level data accuracy and address data gaps through the triangulation of multiple sources.
  • Key contributor to the quarterly country-level market tracker and forecast reports, working closely with the regional and global TV sets team.

Commercial and External Communication

  • Contribute to the development of new research initiatives focused on TV market dynamics.
  • Contribute to PR, blogs and marketing activities to promote TV country-level research insights.
  • Support the sales team to ensure client requests and other research needs are met promptly.
  • Support sales and marketing activities in business development.

Success Metrics

  • Quality and accuracy of market intelligence
  • On-time delivery of research products
  • Client satisfaction and retention

This role requires occasional travel in different regions to attend industry events, meet with contacts, and conduct in-person research.

Qualifications

Experience & Education

  • 5-10 years of professional experience in sales and business development, or relevant role within the TV industry
  • Preferably from the TV sets vendor or key component supplier side, with extensive industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with diverse data sets
  • Excellent network of industry contacts in Korea and the APAC region
  • Self-disciplined to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Cultural awareness for working within a global virtual team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
