Job Description
If your idea of a perfect day involves comics, anime, horror, gaming, cosplay, and sci-fi—and you love the thrill of bringing epic fan experiences to life—welcome home.
We’re looking for a Content Coordinator to join our powerhouse team at FAN EXPO HQ and help shape the programming for the biggest pop culture events across the U.S. and Canada. You’ll be right in the fandom action, working with industry pros, fan communities, and creative minds to make each show more legendary than the last
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Teaming up with our Senior Content Coordinators to plan, schedule, and orchestrate on-site programming that fans will be talking about for years.
- Keeping Show Management in the loop with updates, content schedules, and room assignments (because even organized chaos needs a little structure).
- Hunting down the coolest community and industry partners to collaborate on programming that fans will lose their minds over.
- Owning the fan experience by managing schedules, move-in instructions, and floor assignments for our community partners.
- Bringing creative magic to developing and supporting our corporate programming obligations.
- Keeping a pulse on the pop culture multiverse—researching trends, competitor events, and knowing exactly what gets fans hyped.
- Pitching fresh ideas to make every event bigger, better, and more unforgettable than the last.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A wild love for pop culture—comics, anime, horror, gaming, cosplay, sci-fi & fantasy? Yes, please.
- Experience designing, researching, or running attendee programming for events, cultural institutions, or anywhere fans gather to geek out.
- A creative mind that can juggle multiple projects, manage details like a pro, and keep deadlines in check.
- Top-tier communication skills—you’ll be working with everyone from fans to industry leaders, so you’ve got to bring the charm.
- A go-with-the-flow attitude—things move fast, plans change, and you’ll need to adapt.
- Willingness to travel to some of the biggest pop culture events across the U.S. and Canada (yes, this job comes with cons and cosplay).
- Experience managing staff and/or volunteers? Huge bonus points.
- A college or university degree in communications, media, arts, or related fields is cool, but your passion and experience? That’s what really counts
Are you ready to join the team?

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for collaboration and cross-functional teamwork
- Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel multiple times a year to event destinations within the US and Canada
