Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

As the Event Information Cybersecurity Manager you will be responsible for assisting the Sr. Director Events Technologies with overseeing the organization’s computer systems and/or database networks to ensure proper maintenance and cybersecurity protocols are followed.
Duties include working with other IT staff and company employees to identify network or computer system needs, overseeing the installation of new hardware or software and using employee feedback to isolate issues. Large part of this role will include event production and management of the IT vendors, so all projects are performed to the SOW agreements.

  • Answering help desk tickets pertaining to cybersecurity with ability to provide technical and end user support.
  • Experience with O365, Exchange, Active Directory and SharePoint environment is a plus.
  • Monitor and support Network Infrastructure & Virtual Server Environments (Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Servers, Storage Area Networks, & VMware)
  • Train Staff on compliance and electronic and cybersecurity policies.
  • Event planning and production.
  • Installing/configuring network equipment to update/fix hardware/software issues.

This role will require to work over some weekends during the event productions. There is travel up to 40% of the time, should have reliable transportation and be available to visit office locations in Broward and Miami, Palm beach and Orlando counties.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in information technology, Computer Science or Master of Cybersecurity (preferred)
  • 5 years or more of related experience in a technical position providing IT support, network administration and systems integration
  • Experience in maintaining IT vendors.
  • Experience with IT support desk
  • Strong interpersonal skills, high level of passion and enthusiasm for the job.
  • This is ONSITE position.
  • Preferred Skills

    Strong Networking skills, AD, Azure, Identity and access management, VOIP, Datacenter, GDPR, PCI DSS.
