Company Description
- Generation of new business leads, through customer relationship development, cold calling, attendance at industry related events and market searching
- Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships through demonstrating a detailed understanding of customer business strategy and needs
- Develop Sales plans and approaches to grow existing customer account share of wallet, through cross and up selling as well as the sale of integrated packages, sponsorship and advertising
- Develop retention campaigns in collaboration with Exhibitor Marketing teams
- Deliver assigned Sales campaigns, against accounts, products and revenue targets
- Development of brand and industry specific knowledge, including competitor events, to enhance and improve new business sales performance
- Support on the on-site re-booking of existing customer accounts
- Communicate to leadership the latest customer pipeline and booked information through accurate use of Salesforce reporting
- Maintain accurate and timely customer information and notes within Salesforce (CRM system)
- Manage the handing over of Sale information and customer requirements (via Salesforce) to the Event Operations and Event teams
- Support Finance in resolving bad debt customers as a final escalation point
- Act as an informal mentor to Account executives to share industry knowledge and experience (Manager role only)
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
Job Description
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and execute result-driven marketing campaigns for the show. Then work hands-on with internal sales, events and operation teams, as well as external partners and suppliers to deliver each initiative on the marketing calendar;
- Manage content, social media, creative & marketing agencies and suppliers to identify market opportunities, generate leads and meet the targeted attendance for show exhibitors and visitors;
- Develop regional digital and social media strategies in line with event branding guidelines, leveraging local insights, influencers and partners to build brand awareness for the show;
- Develop client engagement strategies and initiatives to drive sales and grow market share for the show;
- Work closely with key stakeholders to gather audience and commercial insights, develop data-driven strategies to motivate show visitors, and execute effective campaigns;
- Support competitive benchmarking and provide data-driven insights and best practices for audience acquisition plan;
- Generate reports and drive analysis and recommendations regularly by evaluating channel effectiveness against relevant performance metrics using different tracking tools such as Google Analytics and PowerBI;
- Keep track on budgets and investments, ensuring budgets are managed in a timely manner;
- Oversee the content management of company’s digital and social media channels (not limited to email marketing platforms, CMS, FB, IG, Wechat, Youtube & LinkedIn);
- Work with trade media and partners such as trade associations to extend promotional reach;
- Onsite event management including but not limited to:
- Pre-registration and onsite registration
- Supervision of survey temp staff to ensure quality insights are captured
- Obtaining exhibitor and visitor quotes
- Conduct post-show survey and analysis
Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Professional Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related disciplines
- At least 6-8 years of working experience preferably in events or exhibitions industry
- Prefer those who has experienced in Digital Marketing, B2B Marketing, Events Marketing
- Good command of English and Chinese
- Experience in managing web, email marketing and social media platforms (i.e. Eloqua, SurveyMonkey, Wordpress, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Facebook, Instagram, WeChat) will be a definite advantage
- Strong proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
- Photoshop, Illustrator would be a plus
- Reliable, creative, and able to work independently under pressure and be able to multitask several projects and complete projects efficiently within tight deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills and a good team player
