Company Description
- Generation of new business leads, through customer relationship development, cold calling, attendance at industry related events and market searching
- Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships through demonstrating a detailed understanding of customer business strategy and needs
- Develop Sales plans and approaches to grow existing customer account share of wallet, through cross and up selling as well as the sale of integrated packages, sponsorship and advertising
- Develop retention campaigns in collaboration with Exhibitor Marketing teams
- Deliver assigned Sales campaigns, against accounts, products and revenue targets
- Development of brand and industry specific knowledge, including competitor events, to enhance and improve new business sales performance
- Support on the on-site re-booking of existing customer accounts
- Communicate to leadership the latest customer pipeline and booked information through accurate use of Salesforce reporting
- Maintain accurate and timely customer information and notes within Salesforce (CRM system)
- Manage the handing over of Sale information and customer requirements (via Salesforce) to the Event Operations and Event teams
- Support Finance in resolving bad debt customers as a final escalation point
- Act as an informal mentor to Account executives to share industry knowledge and experience (Manager role only)
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
Job Description
- Develop and implement the sales strategy for the company’s indirect sales channels worldwide, except of China, with the aim of optimizing international sales cooperation to maximize sales opportunity.
- Prepare comprehensive sales plans for new launches, providing effective support to the sales team through market research, sales data analysis, and sales resources management.
- Continuously improve the company's overseas sales processes, ensure to achieve a better sales results.
- Monitor sales performance indicators, regularly provide reports, analyze sales trends, and identify market opportunities.
- Train members of the sales team to improve their sales skills and business knowledge, ultimately enhancing the overall sales capability and performance.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of sales support experience that is relevant to the position, accompanied by a strong aptitude for analyzing and solving problems, as well as a solid foundation in data analysis.
- Demonstrates exceptional communication and coordination skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with individuals both internally and externally, regardless of their level within the organization.
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the exhibition industry and the international exhibition market, including some knowledge of pertinent markets and clients.
- Fluent in both spoken and written Chinese and English, with the capability to conduct business negotiations and communicate with clients in English.
