• Understanding current best practices & do a sustainability audit for Informa Markets.
• Detailed plan and working group to achieve Bronze level of Better Stands.
• Assisting Operations Head with developing various India & Global sustainable reports.
• Develop and implement sustainability strategies and initiatives, aligning them with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Identify and analyse environmental and social risks and find solutions to minimize these risks.  
• Regular communications to exhibitors & contractors on Better Stands.
• Reduction in m2 and number of disposable stands from 2023.
• Manage and control the project budget.
• Sampling of eco-friendly stands / Better Stands audit in our shows.
• Conduct thorough exhibitor participations with stand builds and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
• Proactively identify and promote opportunities to reduce the use of single use stands.
• Link sponsorship initiatives to Sustainability in exhibitions.
• Implement eco-friendly initiatives and ensure the organisation is on track to achieve its environmental objectives.
• Focus on minimizing the exhibition’s environmental impact. Oversee initiatives to reduce energy & water consumption, manage & reduce waste to landfill, promote the use of renewable resources in stand construction / setting up the show.
• Conduct regular Training programmes for contractors, develop case studies on best practice and ideas for re-use (training regionally specific).
• Implement Sustainable stand awards in all IMI shows to gain traction on our goals.
• Collaboration / working groups with other regional organisers to drive the initiative within the industry.
• Interact with venues for implementing Sustainable initiatives in exhibitions.
• Commercial partnerships with key-suppliers / official contractors to increase product / opportunities.

• Formal education in EHS / ESG / CSR / Renewable Energy / Climate Studies / Urban Planning / Organic Chemistry / Agricultural space is desired.
• Manufacturing, live media background, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Engineering, Agricultural, Industry experience is desired.
• Plant level 10 – 12 years working experience is Mandatory.
• Should have minimum 15 working experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self-starter with a problem-solving attitude.

Manager Sustainability, at Informa Markets in India will be part of India Operations team & will be responsible for managing assisting operations head in delivering sustainable events as per Informa`s Global Standards with optimum utilization of resources. Identifying wastage in current practices, if any, eliminate the same at micro & macro level. Work with a purpose of waste reduction & managing the waste, with a pride in global sustainable movement. Working closely with operations teams  besides projects, Marketing & Finance teams. Ensuring sustainable wave from venue booking, to vacating the venue. Front ending on Informa Markets India`s Sustainable Agenda with moral & corporate responsibility.

The successful candidates will be required to ensure sustainable shows. This resource will be required to adopt best-in-class technologies and periodically acquire new such skills both via self-study and ad-hoc specific training.
