Job Description

As a Content Intern within the Pharma division at Informa Markets Amsterdam, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our events by assisting in various content-related tasks. You will work closely with the Content Team on all aspects of event delivery, from speaker liaison to on-site management.

Additionally, you will support on small design projects to help bring our digital content to life, as well as getting involved with our monthly webinar series, assisting with webinar uploads and updates. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the events industry while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting up and managing the Speaker Collection Forms to facilitate the smooth submission of speaker details and materials. 

  • Corresponding with speakers to communicate deadlines and send reminders for submission of slide decks and other required materials. 

  • Ensuring content agendas are kept up to date on our websites and event platforms.

  • Assisting in uploading leads into the speaker database to maintain a comprehensive record of speaker information. 

  • Working alongside the Content Team to prepare on-site briefs, ensuring speakers are well-informed and equipped for their presentations. 

  • Helping out with design tasks, including creating banners and social graphics. 

  • Providing support with webinar uploads and updates, assisting in the smooth execution of online event delivery. 

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant degree program, such as Marketing, Communications, or Event Management. 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. 

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. 

  • Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar project management tools is desirable. 

  • Basic design skills and knowledge of design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) would be advantageous. 

  • A proactive and detail-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
