We also provide year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads, and we provide data and digital content that supports the flow of knowledge and transactions in markets.

Job Description

This position will play a vital role in developing, implementing & managing talent management and learning strategies and programs that attract, retain, and develop the best talent to support the company growth and success across Asia.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Identify and assess talent needs, develop, and implement talent management programs and initiatives to address those talent needs that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with business leaders to identify and develop talents and support employees’ career development through coaching, mentoring, and training.
  • Design and implement succession planning processes, frameworks and related tools to ensure the development and retention of identified talents.
  • Collaborate with other parties to ensure alignment of talent management strategies with other HR projects.
  • Collaborate with HR partners and management to identify and address talent gaps.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external learning and development vendors and partners.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in talent management, and continuously improve and innovate talent management processes and programs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of talent development programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Support the execution of global initiatives and learning management system in the region.
  • Embed the talent learning and development strategies into employee experience, engagement and wellbeing program in order to drive comprehensive retention program.
  • Ad hoc project as per assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, psychology, human resources or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in talent management or related field in a MNC
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A proven track record in initiating new ideas and managing talent development projects.
  • Has a track record of experience working with individuals, teams, and leaders to accelerate their development
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees and stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent command in English & Chinese, both written and spoken
