Job Description
The incumbent will act as a human resources generalist to designated business groups in Korea, provide HR action and advice on talent acquisition, manpower planning, organization design, talent development and employee relations. He or she need to work closely with HR specialist teams to ensure smooth HR operation on daily basis. He or she will also take part in the regional Asia projects in as well as cultural integration.
In this role, you will
- Be the focal point of contact to handle all staff enquires, complex employee relations issues, counsel, and coach managers on performance issues.
- Provide advice and support to business leaders on structure changes, talent retention, salary review and promotions to optimize the use of resources and drive a highly engaged workforce.
- Assist to design people strategy to attract and retain talent within the organization and to ensure that it is in alignment and competitive to the market.
- Provide end-to-end assistance in the formulation and implementation of all HR initiatives such as staff remuneration, commission, budgeting, performance management, employee engagement survey and bonus scheme introduction.
- Review and strengthen the current interview assessment processes and method. Work collaboratively with all business leaders on hiring needs.
- Coordinate with HR service teams to ensure proper candidate onboarding and manager handoff. This includes during the pre-hire, post offer and onboarding phases.
- Drive talent acquisition and diversified channels. Campus recruitment is a must to identify right talent for the company.
- Participated in regional HR projects and act as a champion to rollout to other Asia offices
- Ad hoc project as per assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years' solid HR experience with proven experience in HR Partnering
- Good interpersonal skills with excellent command in both written and spoken Korean and English
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality advice on HR issues and well versed with employment ordinance
- Client-oriented with strong business acumen and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Able to manage multiple projects systematically, good at problem solving
- Is diplomatic, able to build rapport with people at all levels
- Is a good team player and active listener, able to work under ambiguity and embrace challenges
- Occasional travel is required
