Job Description
We’re seeking a FULLY REMOTE Business Development Associate to join our OmniChannel Sales & Experience team within one of our primary markets (NYC/Metropolitan area, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, or Los Angeles). In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and developing new business relationships with Financial institutions. You’ll take the lead in the development of new business opportunities that support Curinos’s overall growth strategy. We are seeking someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, passion for sales, who takes a hands-on approach to building business opportunities and forming relationships. In this key position, the Business Development Associate will work closely with marketing, sales, and product management teams to achieve established lead generation goals, implement business development initiatives that maximize and grow the Curinos footprint, while generating bottom line revenue for the company.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve Monthly, Quarterly and Annual KPI targets as established.
- Source new sales opportunities primarily through prospecting, outbound cold calls, outbound emails and lead generation techniques targeting the banking & financial industry.
- Generate and qualify sales leads to coordinate client meetings and product demos with new business prospects.
- Identify and target sales prospects at new and existing accounts to source opportunities for Curinos market research solutions.
- Build relationships with key decision makers within existing Curinos accounts, to help identify cross-sell & upsell opportunities.
- Gain a holistic understanding of customer’s requirements and industry challenges to present the appropriate Curinos solution.
- Work in collaboration with Client Managers, Sales Executives, Marketing, and Internal teams to achieve overall company objectives / revenue targets.
- Maintains daily focus to convert leads and acquire new clients in a competitive sales environment.
The salary range for this role is 70k/ with up to 40k OTC
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of proven inside sales experience, ideally transactional selling
- Strong comfort level pitching a variety of solutions, ranging from syndicated data membership services to more tailored project-based consulting services
- Enthusiastic, competitive, results-driven and solutions-orientated attitude with a strong work ethic
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills- must be detail-oriented.
- Good knowledge of financial markets
- Proficient with corporate productivity, web presentation tools and Salesforce.com
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Driven and motivated to achieve goals and quotas
This is a hybrid position, with the ideal candidate located near one of our regional hubs (New York, Chicago, Boston, Dallas, Toronto, & London) and able to travel to an office as needed for working sessions or team meetings.
