Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Business Process Manager to join our Continuous Improvement Team. A specialist in process quality and/or Lean Six Sigma, you will be responsible for managing Digital Business Process Management (DBPM) systems and tools, maintaining and developing them as a key aspect of continuous improvement infrastructure at T&F.
You will build good relationships with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of DBPM standards, governance and practice through transparent communication and effective change management. You will also track and report on all aspects of DBPM usage and control associated with efficiency, quality and customer value.
This role will be based predominantly remotely from home in the UK, with regular travel (approx. 1 day per week) to our office in Milton Park, Oxfordshire, as required.

What you’ll be doing:
- Manage the engagement around DBPM process management system or tools, including being the technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Managing all aspects to ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of DBPM process management system or tools, including working with suppliers and advising on best practice
- Managing reporting associated with the DBPM system or tools, including provision of regular timely reporting and its development to meet stakeholder requirements
- Set standards for DBPM governance and practice at T&F, including templates and training support for all colleagues using the system
- Pilot improvements to DBPM standards, using Lean Six Sigma tools
- Promote knowledge sharing of process management system or tools, e.g. by identifying appropriate experts, creating communities of practice, and advising on effective use of newsletters, SharePoint, noticeboards, reference libraries and technological solutions
- Report clearly and consistently on progress using agreed KPIs and KRIs
- Advise on best practice around the creation, dissemination, and maintenance of process documentation, process standards and change management processes associated with DBPM
- Maintain, use and share up-to-date knowledge of DBPM, including standards, frameworks and process documentation
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, using multiple channels and formats, based on a clear communication plan
Qualifications

- Experience of creating and managing process documentation
- Experience of developing process documentation governance and standards
- Positive approach to problem solving, resolving conflicts and overcoming obstacles
- Comfortable using Kanban boards and project management software
- Strong team working and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate to achieve as a team
- Good influencing skills and stakeholder management
- Demonstrated use of Lean or Six Sigma process improvement tools and methodologies
- Demonstrated delivery of improvements, including appropriate use of technology to share progress
- Demonstrated knowledge of data analysis
- Techniques for eliciting and analyzing feedback
- Self-starter, able to use own initiative, able to self-organise
- Adaptable; responding quickly to change
- Collaborative approach to analysis and identifying solutions
- Driven to achieve and deliver quantifiable results
- Proven ability to network and build relationships
- Strong numerical and verbal reasoning skills, as well as attention to detail
- Commercial awareness and customer focus, including analyzing feedback
- Strong Excel skills, comfortable using data
The following would also be advantageous however full training will be provided:
- Experience of managing and overseeing systems/software for project or process management
- Experience of working with software suppliers
- Experience of training others in a skill
- Techniques for change management
- Understanding of publishing process and systems
Additional Information
This role will be based predominantly from home in the UK, with regular travel (approx. 1 day per week) to our office in Milton Park, Oxfordshire, as required. You must have the right to live and work in the UK.
