Job Description

Curinos is currently seeking a HR Business Partner to support the rapid growth in their growing Retail Banking Deposit Solutions team. The position is a hybrid (blend of work from home and in office) position and candidates must live in the Tri-State area. The HR Business Partner is a highly visible role within the company directly supporting 150-160 employees. You will be on the front line working closely with managers and directors to be able to provide hands-on and strategic input, insight, and advice with respect to employee relations, coaching/development, compensation, conflict management, organizational development, training and more. Additionally, you will be given opportunities to analyze data and make recommendations for continuous improvement within the HR Department.

Expectations Include:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee requests and questions.
  • Manage the on-boarding process for new employees and contractors; coordinate with other departments to complete necessary tasks; send out touch point surveys to employees and managers to assess how new employees are doing and analyze the results.
  • Initiate separation process for employees who leave voluntarily; ensure a smooth transition; conduct exit interviews to obtain quality information and compile data for leadership review.
  • Oversee planning of company social events.
  • Assist with managing, implementing and continuing development of the HRIS and HR Intranet page.
  • Assist with preparing monthly flash reports for leadership using HR metrics, including hiring, turnover, compensation reviews, and employee matters.
  • • Assist with division performance management process and talent reviews within teams.
  • Coordinate with payroll processing on global changes for payrolls for the United States, Canada (CA), and UK.
  • Assist with preparing annual total compensation statements and bonus communication letters.
  • Partner on employee benefit and retirement programs for the US, CA, and UK; assist with annual renewals, coordinate open enrollment, submit regulatory filings, and general reporting.
  • Assist with preparation of any applicable reporting for federal, state, and local laws and regulations including EEO, Affirmative Action, ADA, FMLA, Vets-100, Immigration, Sexual Harassment etc.
  • Support data requests and process reviews for audits.
  • Respond to HR-related requests for RFPs and customer questionnaires.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, required.
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Ability to work at all levels of the HR “stack” - strategic, operational, and tactical.
  • Demonstrated creditability and integrity in communications to ensure information flows upward and downward.
  • Ability to stylistically adapt communication based on audience.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills. Critical thinker with success in developing innovative solutions to business issues.
  • A deep knowledge of HR programs and practices, including applicable state and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Word, strong in Excel, HR/payroll systems, and PowerPoint.
  • Information Classification: General
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and organized.
  • Capable of working independently and possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Located in the Tri-state area (NY, CT, NJ).

Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 plus bonus. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc..
