Job Description

We are looking for an analyst to join our team permanently as a Business Analyst (Marketing Analytics).  He/she/they will have good visibility within the firm on a growing team. Novantas’ Acquisition IQ (AIQ) is a marketing measurement and optimization solution developed specifically for bank marketers to help maximize investments, support efficient growth, and importantly – demonstrate the power of marketing. On a daily basis, an analyst will work with client teams to tackle their individual challenges, deriving insights from data analytics and modeling to drive real impact.

The successful candidate will need to: 

  • Know your clients’ marketing strategies and data inside and out
  • Help them develop marketing strategies as marketing becomes more and more crucial in financial services
  • Build impactful client relationships by leading client calls and in person meetings
  • Identify product issues or opportunities for our clients, develop hypotheses, and engage in solutions brainstorming
  • Develop insights and findings from a variety of models and analytics; craft strategic stories to be presented to client executives
  • Support the business development efforts of the senior Managing Directors and Principals by assisting with proposal and contract writing
  • Write and contribute to the publishing of articles and reports that position and establish the firm as a thought leader
  • Support the development of one or more streams of intellectual capital and methodology development within the division


Candidates should have the following background, skills and characteristics:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Retail Banking, Consulting, Financial Services, and/or Business Intelligence (experience in Retail or Commercial Deposits is a bonus)
  • Strong analytical capabilities including the ability to interpret complex analytics
  • Strong verbal communication skills, with a particular focus on effective story telling and logical presentation
  • Willingness to travel
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Passion for the details and finding the best answer
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, time-sensitive work to clients, across multiple client workstreams
