Job Description

The ideal candidate shall be an analytical individual with strong growth mindset. He/she will work across multiple markets and verticals in the region and interact with various teams including business, finance, tech and external vendors / partners.

The role of Data Analyst will be instrumental to the digital transformation journey of Informa Markets in Asia, as we are transitioning from an in-person event business to a more digitally focused organization. A key part of our transformation is to create world-class digital products and solutions answering to the fast-changing market needs, which requires us to be able to use data to define, measure and optimize a wide range of digital initiatives.

This role reports to VP, Product Management APAC.

You Will:

·        Propose new metrics to accommodate changing business requirements and work with business teams for constantly review and update

·        Lead definition of key performance metrics for individual digital product and work with internal and external teams to collect, process and report those metrics on regular basis

·        Act as the digital product performance diagnostic expert for the APAC region, identifying areas of improvement and work with relevant stakeholders to implement those changes

·        Responsible for creating a successful “pilot culture” in 2022 for Informa Markets APAC - create process and framework for digital experiments / pilots, and proactively manage the pipeline of pilots across teams

·        Support and lead training and education of digital analytics in the region

·        Degree holder in mathematics, statistics, computer science or analytics, or any related science degree

·        5+ years experience with minimum 3 years experience in analytics, preferably in eCommerce, digital media or technology / software

·        Business savvy: Proven ability of using data to influence business decision and processes

·        Strong language and communication – structured writing and good presentation skill

Proficient technical know-how – SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableu etc. Those with experience / knowledge in data engineering and ETL process are highly preferred
