Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Organisational Design Lead / Senior HR Business Partner to work as part of our Global Strategy Team.

Reporting to the Global VP for People Strategy, this position will play a pivotal role and resource for all acquisitions and organisational changes, within Taylor and Francis, providing guidance and recommendations at all times, ensuring that they align to Taylor and Francis’ global philosophy. 

Leveraging strong HR operations and business partner experience, the individual will be responsible for leading the end to end HR life cycle for acquisitions, divestitures and other organisational changes and have the ability to anticipate and identify integration, cost, or resourcing issues. This role functions as the HR acquisition and organisational change SME and works in partnership with the HRBPs for the business and is closely involved in project planning (pre and post-acquisition), partnering with members of the business team (Payroll, Finance, Legal and other functions) to raise any issues on aspects of the change (from concept to integration). Serves a critical role in planning and managing organisational change projects.

What you will be doing:

  • Working with the Global Director of People Relations, develops HR best practices on processes that will be utilized during all acquisitions and/or organizational change initiatives, both domestic and international, continuously improving the integration processes.
  • Works with the global HRBPs of the functional area where the change is occurring and partners with Global People Relations team, L&OD team and Shared Services on due diligence and analysis. Ensures all HR efforts are coordinated and HR risks are identified and addressed  during due diligence and integration.
  • Assist in the development of project plans and tracking progress against plans and communicating updates to the HR project team members
  • Identify, track and monitor risks and issues for multiple projects
  • Responsible for creating and/or enhancing the HR processes for acquisitions and  organizational changes, including integration checklists, project templates, best practices and project management tools pertaining to HR.
  • Serves as a liaison to ensure smooth integration of acquisitions and organizational changes into the organization, providing valuable insight on integration of HR processes and practices, including but not limited to organizational design, compensation and benefits.
  • Analyzes data to identify key HR-related exposures in a due diligence context, including those related to compensation and benefits plans.
  • Develop learning materials for acquisitions/organizational changes and train HR teams supporting these activities.
  • Participate in external workshops and round table discussions and share learnings/best practices with the HR People Strategy team.
  • Provides assistance in managing projects and supporting HR initiatives designed to improve  the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Global HR Team, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, data analytics and HR operations.
  • Do an annual review on all previous acquisitions to ensure the full integration and imbedding of best practice.
  • Global Travel: Approximately 15 - 25%
