Job Description

To gain experience in Research and Production workflow and develop knowledge and skills necessary for a career in Content Operations. This will cover training in key areas and processes as well as undertaking projects and operational tasks which will contribute to the deliverables committed by Penang Operations.

  • Successful completion of all training modules encompassing assignments to various functionalities/teams within Content Operations. Delivery of a project that would reflect the depth and breadth of knowledge gained across research and production workflow during the training period.

  • Successful completion of each training module which may encompass. Successful delivery of set projects that have clear objectives with defined outcomes. Responsible for completing day-to-day operational tasks which may include projects from the areas of process automation, primary research, secondary research, editing & publishing, product operations and similar.

  • These may include building templates and workbooks – creating Excel-based templates and workbooks for data entry, collation, cleansing and synthesis. Formatting Omdia content, including excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint documents and reports to ensure that it is consistent, accurate and ready to be published. Support E&P colleagues in content publishing and CMS related tasks.

  • Responsible for ensuring that all work delivered complies with Informa Tech research & operational excellence standards. Accountable for addressing and remedying any errors identified in the work delivered. 

  • Responsible for updating relevant documentations with lessons learned and to reflect current status quo.

  • Successful, on-time delivery of high-quality, highly relevant, and differentiated research projects that provide essential elements for syndicated research projects across sectors.

  • Successful, on-time execution of research projects that are essential components of consulting engagements, delivered to client specifications and quality expectations.

  • Participating in meetings, workshops, and team-building events.

  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Excellent planning, prioritizing and organizational skills
  • Ability to apply skills and knowledge in new environments and contexts
  • Previous work experience is not necessary but may be advantageous.
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in relevant field
