Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity a savvy technologist with experience in Marketing applications to join the growing, exciting, and fast-paced team at Informa Markets. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Digital Marketing & Platform Manager is responsible for maintaining all digital platforms including websites and mobile applications, as well as all paid social media campaigns which include the Group’s portfolio of tradeshows, conferences, society, and media.


Accountable for:

  • Manage and update all website content and ensure timely execution
  • Source, recommend and manage new platforms for additional digital products.
  •  Improve user experience for all websites to achieve an increase in conversion rates
  • Actively test different layouts/placements of CTA’s (Call-to-Action) and content to identify drivers which will improve outcomes
  • Analyze website data to determine high traffic web pages and why some perform better than others, then optimize based on learnings
  • Manage all aspects of the mobile application for the event conferences
  • Ensure metadata is in place on all websites and build a backlink strategy
  • Produce reports on a weekly and monthly cadence to review campaign performance including recommended action items
  • Launch new paid search (SEM) & Facebook campaigns, with complete build out of ad groups, keywords, and ads
  • Paid search (Google Ads, Bing Ads) media buying and optimization
  • Develop and execute display (AdRoll) and social (Facebook/LinkedIn) campaigns
  • Perform regular keyword research to expand reach
  • Landing page creation and design
  • Resolve any HTML issues with internal communications and/or client email files
  • Write code for a variety of digital platforms

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field and relevant experience
  •  Experience with web application, design, programing languages, and writing code such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • An understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
  • Analytics Platform Experience (Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Bing Ads Editor, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager
  • A solid understanding of SEO
  • Experience working with Adobe Suite products such as AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) a plus
  • Basic Design knowledge and experience working with tools such as InDesign, Photoshop and video editing software’s
  • Ability to succeed in a in a fast-paced environment; successful multi-tasking is a must
  • Agile and flexible with regards to changing priorities and business needs and in working with diverse teams and people
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and use it to pivot to see a greater impact
  • Analytical person who can think strategically and work to effectively solve problems
  • Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally at all levels. A self-starter who can roll up their sleeves and get things done with little supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skill
