Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Key point of contact with the business divisions for unallocated cash queries
  • Support the O2C Manager in ensuring service levels are met
  • Manage the Cash Applications team and support their continuous development
  • Ensure appropriate work tasks are distributed within the team, ensure that work is managed effectively and delivered within SLAs & KPIs
  • Develop, implement and maintain systems, procedures and policies of O2C functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines
  • Ensure all processes are correctly followed and all controls are adhered to
  • Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities
  • Handle escalated query resolution
  • Month End reporting/Ad Hoc reporting/Requests
  • Internal/External Audit Support
  • Preparation of reporting credit balances
  • Other ad hoc tasks as required

Qualifications

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications in a business or finance discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience, experience managing last Cash Applications teams
  • Supervisory experience is a must
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is a must.  Ability in any other Asian languages would be an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of all O2C processes including best practice in people, processes and technology
  • Sound know-how of SSC processes and how these fit into the wider environment
  • Able to lead and guide a team through challenging periods
  • Be able to manage competing priorities and achieve deadlines, whilst delivering a high standard of work and supporting the team as and when needed
  • Strong in building relationships with stakeholders within and outside of the organisation
  • Evidence of making decisive decisions based on available information
  • Highly organised, diligent with attention to detail and the ability to maintain these skills whilst working under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills and able to manage different stakeholders within the business. Confident with presentations
  • Interest to continuously drives & improves processes & systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Pro-active mindset and able to roll up his/her sleeves
  • Act with integrity, tact and diplomacy
  • Excellent influencing skills
  • Knowledge of Oracle or SAP is essential
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Word and Outlook are essential. Knowledge and ability to use relevant internal systems
