Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Process bank statements and update matching rules within the system when applicable
  • Input and process daily cash receipts from statements, cheques and credit cards
  • Reconcile Credit Card Payment Portals daily where appropriate
  • Performing standard cash allocations
  • Allocation of such unallocated payments to appropriate systems
  • Preliminary Investigation and resolution of unidentified and unapplied payments
  • Reconcile associated General Ledger and assist in month-end closing
  • Action refund payments by appropriate method
  • Reconcile associated General Ledger and assist in month-end closing
  • Investigation and resolution of all reconciling items identified in the reconciliation process
  • Onsite support for money collection of Asia events
  • Liaison with internal and external customers
  • Internal/External audit support
  • Preparation of reporting credit balances
  • Other ad hoc tasks as require

 

Qualifications

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications in a business or finance discipline
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience
  • Proficient skills in Excel, Word and Outlook are essential
  • Knowledge of Oracle or SAP is an advantage
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Cash Applications processes within specific area of expertise:
  • -  Queries & Allocations
  • -  Cash Processing and Reconciliations
  • -  Best practice in Cash Operations
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is a requirement.  Ability in any other Asian languages would be an advantage
  • Good communication skills with the ability to build good relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, internal departments and key contacts
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under time pressure are essential
