Job Description

The Role

The Senior Marketing Executive is responsible for leading the marketing of events including B2B lead generation campaigns. The events range from online, to in-person to a combination of both. They are responsible for developing and executing the marketing plans and campaigns for the projects they are are responsible for. 

Job Summary/Responsibilities

Responsible for setting the overall marketing strategy in collaboration with the  Marketing Manager and the respective Brand/Event Directors

  • Engages with and collaborates closely with Brand and Sales functions to build targeted and customer focused event marketing plans
  • Works closely with other internal stakeholders from other regions and supports them in successfully promoting their events to international audiences 
  • Develops marketing plans and campaigns across all channels covering lead generation needs and attendee registration
  • Briefs the digital marketing team and works with them to monitor the timely delivery of the campaign and optimise based on performance
  • Monitors and develops the customer journey across all contact points and contributes in the development of customer personas
  • Understands and manages data plans including data segmentation and data analysis
  • Reviews and signs off marketing budget and investment for their events
  • Develops detailed testing plans and milestones for review and optimisation of the various campaigns


  • The successful candidate will have previous marketing experience ideally in exhibitions, B2B events 
  • Degree/diploma in Marketing/Business Administration or other relevant area preferred
  • Familiar with Marketing Automation tools (Eloqua, Marketo, etc.), project management tools (Asana, smart sheet. etc.)
  • Web analytics knowledge 
  • A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent command of English 
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of all digital channels and their metrics
  • Extensive experience of developing marketing strategies, marketing plans and campaigns to meet company objectives
  • Experience with campaign optimisation and channel analytics
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.  Able to analyse, interpret, draw conclusions, and implement solutions on a variety of complex issues 
  • Experience with data segmentation tools and CRM tools, preferably Salesforce
