We are now recruiting for a Senior Marketing Manager on a permanent basis in Singapore & Malaysia

Job Description

The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for converting Audience and Client Prospects into monetized audiences; seeking to convert a qualified audience prospect to a delegate to a Physical, Virtual or Hybrid event, to a lead for Marketing Services or a student to Training.  This role is responsible for leading, developing and managing a team of 3 marketers.

Key responsibilities:


• Create the marketing strategy and integrated marketing plans, to deliver key marketing and business objectives for area and support team in developing strategic data driven marketing plans with clear KPIs and marketing goals
• Develop and monitor automation campaigns to nurture and guide others in effective use of multi channel campaigns
• Leadership, development and management of the Marketing Team with a focus of self development and development of colleagues
• Develop project plan for efficient use of team and resources and tracks delivery, resourcing team and agencies accordingly to deliver objectives
• Lead the strategy for area of business in terms of data collection, storage, management, access, sharing and use of data and improves data integration across platforms
• Lead and direct the management of projects related to the delivery of customer value propositions and products/services
• Lead the planning and implementation of an integrated customer focused  digital marketing strategy for area of responsibility, optimise all digital channels and ROI with team and identify new digital solutions to optimise return
• Own and understand digital platform selection, training, usage and reporting
• Lead the strategic development of partnership marketing plans to meet customer needs and business objectives and ensures these are delivered and KPIs agreed

Best practice/measuring performance/innovation & product development

• Supports and provides guidance on teams plans and proposes improvements/developments as required
• Innovates how channels are used to maximise results across area, identifies new channels and provides feedback for team on improvements
• Identifies opportunities within combined product suite to better serve customer needs
• Introduces new technologies that are strategically aligned to business plans and goals
• Works to integrate systems and platforms and supports team in understanding the vision for technology in marketing
• Partners with Data & Analytics within Pillar, to analyse data and use data to measure and improve performance
• Sets business KPIs for team and analyses data to inform marketing strategies
• KPIs - reporting, forecasting and performance metrics to key internal and external stakeholders, highlighting revenue risks, opportunities and changing landscapes. Regularly reviews and implements tactics to optimise marketing plans, channel performance, response rates, audience demographics, and executes industry best practices, all decisions are data driven


• Demonstrable experience in Campaign Management, forming and executing a strategy that raises awareness, generates interest and desire, and solicits action.  Leveraging multiple techniques and channels in order to achieve objectives
• An experienced leader and coach with proven experience of creating high performing teams
• Direct response marketing experience; soliciting a call to action, generating demand for sales or an end sale
• Content Marketing; art of using relevant, engaging content to attract and nurture prospects through the buyer journey
• Building and maintaining relationships and understanding customer needs
• Managing senior stakeholders and large complex customers
• Demonstrable knowledge of the competitive landscape
• History of Marketing KPI delivery
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; written, verbal, presentation
