Minimum 5+ Years’ experience in Solaris/Linux Administration who can handle production critical issues.

Expert level in Solaris virtualization such as LDOM’s and Zones.

Expert level in VMware virtualization of Unix servers and troubleshooting/administration of servers.

Experience in Red hat Linux virtualization.

Expert-level knowledge in Redhat/OEL Linux/Ubuntu/CentOS administration and troubleshooting. Need to have good knowledge on recovering and rebuilding the existing PROD Linux servers.

Expert-level knowledge of Oracle Solaris 8,9,10,11 Administration and troubleshooting of all physical and virtualized servers. Need to have good knowledge on recovering and rebuilding the existing PROD nodes.

Must have strong knowledge in ZFS, SVM.

Should have strong knowledge Oracle OPSCENTER , CDOM, LDOMs, Zones and VMware VCenter.

In depth understanding & hands on with Linux kernel tuning / modifications. Volume management using LVM &VxVM. Host based storage management – Scanning / deleting LUNs, allocating/extending disk space, working with RAID arrays using “mdadm” & working with NAS filers. Advanced level working knowledge of NFS, auto-mounter, CIFS, samba. Red Hat package & patch management using “rpm”, “yum”

Advanced level host based network management – working with static / dynamic routes, Ethernet bonding, VIPs, DNS, DHCP. Hands on experience with directory services – LDAP & NIS.
