Job Description

As a Product Documentation Specialist you will be working on creating, editing, and reviewing client-facing documents/ end-user documentation, including product documentation and tutorials for the Infobip platform, products, and solutions.

Our Product Documentation team sits within Product Design, focusing on the content and user experience of our Infobip Documentation Hub (Docs) product.
The documentation hub is a collection of product documentation, how-to-use cases, and general information about the platform created to help our customers get started with Infobip and get inspired on how to connect with their end users.
On a daily basis, you will be working closely with Product Management, as well as Professional Services, Engineering, Customer Care, Marketing, and Product Design. With heavy collaboration, you'll be using JIRA to make your work transparent.

  • At this moment we do not offer relocation to Croatia.
  • You will be Employed in the country of your residence and citizenship.

Your responsibilities as an Infobip Product Documentation Specialist:

  • Work as a dedicated Product Documentation Specialist on a product or group of solutions on the Infobip platform.
  • Write and edit technical documentation by working on the Infobip Documentation Hub.
  • Write technical tutorials and how-to tutorials.
  • Work on technical schemes, illustrations, diagrams, and screenshots.
  • Collaborate daily with Product Management to achieve technical accuracy of the documentation you are writing about.
  • Quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable to our target audience.
  • Adapt writing style to task requirements.
  • Develop or maintain document templates and information and content structures.
  • Provide support to other Product Documentation Specialists, Product Management, Engineers, Implementation Consultants and Presales Department, and Product Marketing Managers.
  • Suggest innovations to continuously improve the user experience on DOCS.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends. Share knowledge internally and grow your skill set. Be a tech writer ambassador.

 Desired skills & experience

  • Relevant technical writing experience within software development (Product Documentation Specialist, Technical Content Writer, Technical Documentation Specialist, Documentation Manager).
  • Adaptable, patient, proactive self-starter. Resourcefulness and eagerness to learn about Infobip products and how the Infobip platform works. Accepting constant changes while working in an Agile environment.
  • Preferably a degree in IT or English language studies, or equivalent work experience.
  • Native level or full professional proficiency in the English language (written and verbal). Superior command of the English language, including grammar and language usage.
  • Experience documenting APIs.
  • Basic HTML and CSS skills, as well as basic UX writing.
  • Experience in documenting features, UI, and writing concise technical guides (for end users or developers).
  • Superior research skills. Strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable speaking with subject matter experts to obtain the necessary information to write documentation.
  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Patience and willingness to work with multiple teams and departments across different time zones to produce the documentation.
  • Quickly learn and adopt new technology, tools, and processes in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment in Infobip.
