The Regional Compliance Manager is responsible for leading, strengthening, extending, and sustaining a successful compliance program established by the Infobip’s Compliance Department in a certain Region.

    Job Description

    • Effectively communicates policies and procedures related to Antibribery and corruption, Anti-money laundering and countering financing of terrorism, Sanctions, 3rd Party Risk Management, Conflict of Interest and Compliance Reporting and performs duties consistent with full understanding of Infobip requirements, policies and procedures, standards, internal and external customer strategic goals
    • Works with the regional teams on the optimization of process and establishment of practices which require compliance involvement
    • Maintain efficient relationships with HQ and business, by actively participating to the global compliance community, supporting in landing corporation compliance programs and the creation of first-class compliance framework
    • Hold the Compliance training for new hires during the Infobip Academy and support on implementing all other relevant trainings
    • Drive and facilitate training programs and communication for region to foster compliance awareness and improvement of compliance behavior
    • Support the coordination on specific regional or country-based standards (e.g., ISO, HIPAA, SOC) that have been approved for implementation
    • In collaboration with the dedicated teams within the compliance department support the regional departments who request for assistance, information, and interpretation on all compliance topics, such as compliance procedures, policies, gift and hospitality limits, third party management procedures, conflict of interest, speak up rules, standards and trainings
    • Ensures that projects and activities in the region are compliant with the local applicable regulation and Infobip policies by supporting the review and approval of documents, agreements, questionnaires, and other documents required by customers and/or vendors and providing hands-on assistance in their preparation
    • Recommends strategies to streamline systems for effectiveness and efficiency, considering client needs, team dynamics, and project goals and objectives
    • Effectively communicates the functions, roles, and responsibilities of the Compliance Department to internal departments, customers and /or vendors
    • Liaises regularly with new business staff to understand and better respond to customers’ needs
    • Feeds HQ Compliance Department with information and needs from the regional departments
    • Fosters and demonstrates a workplace inclusive of creating opportunity, supporting colleagues, building trust and innovation
    • Is the point of contact Actively influence business accountability and support management to drive an effective culture of compliance in the regions
    • Monitor and influence effective execution of mandatory compliance requirements by local teams and facilitate the business’s overall compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
    • Support Internal Audits, Standards Audits and Self assessments execution and remediation together with local business, legal and finance stakeholders
    • Identify new and emerging risks for region and share those with HQ Compliance team to ensure continued improvement of global compliance framework.
    • Eventually establishing a compliance regional committee including the business, legal and POP teams (maybe finance as well) with the aim to work closely on creating a center of expertise for the Region.

    Qualifications

    • You have 5+ years of experience in the field
    • Higher education degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or similar
    • Strong legal/compliance function skills
    • International exposure in compliance matters
    • Experience in implementation of compliance programs and investigations
    • Experience in identification of compliance and legal risks processes
    • Exceptional organizational skills, strong work ethic, dedicated and efficient in handling multiple tasks in fast paced environment.
    • You have consulting and advisory skills needed to support the regional management team
    • You love solving problems and have a proven ability to think strategically
    • Full professional fluency in English
    • Effective task management
    • High accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Ready to work in a really multinational/global environment
