Job Description

Why is this role important at Infobip?

You'll be responsible for leading and developing a regional analytics team in Americas. You'd be advocating for efficient collaboration with other teams in Infobip and working side by side with regional management. Your focus will be on commercial outcomes, strategical positioning, and leadership.

Business outcomes and effectiveness

  • Proactively suggest and work on business savings, optimization of selling and buying strategy, and opportunities for growth in the region (e.g. defining new selling prices, approving special discounts for big customers).
  • Ensure alignment with company priorities, other departments, stakeholders, and customer needs. 
  • Support business transitions and changes with data-driven analyses, warning about potential losses and providing solutions.
  • Actively participate in the regional board meetings and planning, making strategic plans and prioritizing initiatives together with other board members.
  • Work closely with the general manager on regional budgeting and investments by proactively finding regional opportunities to invest and facilitate business growth.
  • Track ROI and payback of all major investments in the region (e.g. opening a new office, expanding the business to a new country, new data centers) and communicate the financial impact of any changes.
  • Sponsor the biggest regional projects (e.g. sGate, acquisition and retention of strategic customers, data centers, office openings).
  • Provide consultation to regional and global finance teams in consolidation of financial results and cash flow improvement.
  • Manage good business relationships with all relevant regional and global stakeholders.

Strategical and process responsibilities

  • Cascade global and regional strategy and business plans to regional team and ensure delivery (team planning, alignment with departmental goals).
  • Make sure that team’s processes follow high standards of business excellence and fit well with the rest of the company’s goals.
  • Introduce and apply best practices from other regions obtained from regular BA coordination between regions and the HQ.
  • Test new business processes agreed with HQ and recommend improvements.
  • Take care of the data hygiene with other regional BA members.
  • Accountable for regional knowledge base maintenance and efficient usage.
  • Assist with day-to-day operational work and approvals for complex decisions when needed.

Team leadership responsibilities

  • Drive talent attraction, recruitment, retention, and scaling plans in coordination with People Operations department.
  • Implement and suggest improvements for onboarding process.
  • Mentoring and coaching other members.
  • Talent development – reduce time-to-productivity, implement development plans, provide training, overall support, build successors, identify competency gaps, review performance.
  • Talent retention – keep top performers, offboard low performers, support people growth.
  • Talent engagement – motivation and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate members compensation, bonuses, vacations, and absences.


More about you:

  • Preferably 5 or more years working in relevant roles. Candidates with strong leadership experience have an advantage.
  • Experience with data-driven decision-making with a focus on business, and analytics.
  • You have great knowledge of IT, both Industry and technologies. (Experience in Telcos is a plus)
  • You are a very analytical person and are constantly questioning how things can work better.
