Overview: CISO Firewall Governance – High Risk Review Services for Network Segmentation Program

Services Description

Provide the following services to the global Deutsche Bank franchise:
Review change requests for the firewall rules for accuracy, authenticity and completeness based on network
topology, policies and standards.
Assess risk with change requests based on the policies and standards. Review and approve/reject change
requests.
Work with various teams involved in the process for problem resolution, enhancement and support.
Work close together with the Global NetSeg (Network Segregation) Project Team to ensure the project is
aligned to CISO policies and is able to meet the projects goal. Provide guidance and review complex requests
of NetSeg for effective security operations.

Specifics on that project include but not limited to:
Security and Risk Analyses on Firewall rule requests to ensure compliancy with the Firewall rule framework
The task encompasses the security management and support for the implementation of NetSeg, creation of
Business Reports, evaluation of technical conditions and metrics review and analyze requested Firewall rules
in supporting of that target platform
Experience with international vendors
In order to provide an acceptable level of service within a support desk, the member must have a solid grasp
of TCP/IP and network security.
Specifics on that project include but not limited to:
Create Firewall Risk analyses on a monthly basis, as well as for KCIs, audits and ad-hoc reports utilizing Excel
formulas and macros, Visual Basic scripts and SQL Query
Security and Risk Analyses on Firewall rule requests to ensure compliancy with the Firewall rule framework
In order to provide an acceptable level of service, the service provider must have a solid grasp of TCP/IP and
network security.

Experience | Exposure

The experience required to provide the services:
Minimum 10 years working experience in Information Security Technology field
Expert in large data manipulation and analysis via Excel formulas, macros, pivot tables, VBA and SQL
Expert in Excel templates for a clear and consistent analysis creation for management review
Familiarity, preferably experience, with IT Security, Network and System terminology. Experience in data
networking is a plus
Experience working with global organizations
Written and verbal fluency in English is important as communication will be required over the phone
Candidate must be flexible and adapt to existing applications and workflows
Be prepared to handle users with novice network knowledge

Education | Certification

Degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent Diploma) in Computer Science or equivalent
A Cisco Certified Network certification or similar
An Operating system Certification like Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MSCE) or on a Network device
like Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification will have added advantage but not mandatory if
candidate’s knowledge and experience is sound in system and data networking fields
CISSP certification or similar
